I've been wondering lately: Would there be anyone who would buy my artwork if I were to ever put them on sale?
I've always done my works specifically for one person or as an assignment. I've always given my original pieces to family members who wanted them. As I grow in my studies and increase the number of people I interact with about art, I often wonder how many would actually like to have copies of my works to posses and display? Of course, I'd have to get copyrights and actually work out a method of delivery and printing costs, but I believe they would be dealt with when the time comes. I have the resources and... could try... to get the money to do this, but if it works, hey, that much for the better, right?
In addition, there has been something that came up lately, and it gives a slight hint as to why I ask if anyone would buy my artworks: I have been asked if I would like to teach an entire 3rd grade class about art. ... Are you kidding me?!... Currently, given my schedule and my planned schedule for Senior year, I don't think this could come to fruition... but I teach Bryce, a seven year old kid who's mother works in the cafeteria where I work as well. He's learned a lot with what I could offer from what I have learned through my art instructor, and this kid is a prodigy! Bryce Mehler... I believe you all should learn that name for the near future... Because he's got one in art. I have never seen a seven year old take the fundamentals of art and apply them at middle-school level work.. Yeah. In addition, he loves to draw trains. Anyways, it still is a shock to come to an opportunity like this, as I never thought I was capable of teaching anybody about art. Little did I know, I suppose.... Never tried it, so I didn't know.
Lastly, I've had my artwork up for display in our college's library for quite some time now... and lately, I've had a lot of people ask about it, potentially wanting to get copies for their own personal display. I didn't know how far I had actually come in my art until people started asking about this, as well as the opportunity mentioned above.
So... If you would be interested, please send me a note and I'll get back to you... once my sanity has been revived from these current art projects.
For anyone even more intrigued, I also do plan on putting three projects of mine up for sale if they will be sold: God creating the universe (16X20 computer project on CS5 extended); God creating man (on an 18X22 canvas done in Genesis Oils); and Man creating art (16X20 on hard paper (Yet to determine) done with mixed media of graphite, watercolor, oil pastels, and colored pencils). These projects have yet to be done or even started, but I figured if people wanted them, I may gain the motivation to finish them to the best I can, as well as fast as I can.
There are a few pieces of artwork I cannot sell, of course, like the Assassin's Creed artwork or any of the other entries that have been taken from another source (like my Martial Arts Tiger one), but I do have a few that are from my own personal mind, and not with any resource that has copyright protection to them. Those I can sell, of course.
EDIT: lately, I've seen a lot of people post up their links to their Facebook page so they can reach out to fans on there. If you're the few who do watch and read this and haven't already become a friend on Facebook, Add me!

It's... been a long time...
So, it's been a while. You know, two years or so. A lot has happened since then.
Graduated college. Got a full-time job (not a great one, though, but you know... it pays the bills). And something else:
I have been hired to illustrate a Graphic Novel. This news is actually pretty recent, only a month or so old, so not a whole lot has been done so far. Nevertheless, I've been contacted by someone at the college I graduated and he asked if I'd be willing to illustrate his idea for a Graphic Novel. He has done most of the writing, but he wanted an artist available to meet and discuss ideas with... and, well, my name apparently came up.
So, it'
Probably Should Update More...
Been busy... And it's likely I won't see it lighten up... Junior year of college may be done but the final hectic year is on the horizon...
So, what can you expect, since I haven't really done anything lately?
1. Mass Effect Graphite Project - Haven't started, but expect it to be up around mid to late August
2. Some more personal work - Need to be inspired to finish them up, they are really close to completion.
3. Getting the Creation Trilogy project prints up for sale
4. Updates on my novel I'm working on Senior Year. Once completed, the novel will be submitted for publication. I am terrified of this, but that is the end result of the p
A New Tablet and Spring Break is Over
Yep. Thanks to Amazon and all their discounted wonderfulness, I have an Intuos4 Small Tablet, complete with a mouse and pen stand with nibs. (Of course it comes with the pen...) I never heard of using a mouse ON a tablet, but that's the case here. It's not a USB wireless mouse, you have to have your tablet plugged in and use the mouse on it. Interesting, and I am okay with that, as I don't have to worry about batteries anymore, or keeping the USB and not losing it. But, now, you can definitely expect a LOT more digital work soon to be posted. I now have a tablet for my own random inspirations. Over the summer, I also plan on getting the 30-da
Spring Break and Other Micellaneous Stuff
Believe me, my Spring Break is nothing like I thought it would be. The hype of going out and having fun is seemingly lost this time around. I'm at a friend's house, which is awesome since they have fast Internet... but the friend is gone for a while with her fiance, and I'm stuck here alone with her family. Oh well, can't complain. In addition, this Spring Break, I MUST complete a 9X12 Graphite commission for a different friend at college. (Woot! My first commission!) It has to be completed before Spring Break ends, and I haven't even started. I'll get to it soon, believe me. It won't be that hard.
As for the other Miscellaneous stuff mentio
